Daily Disasters
I wikecat 1.30am and couldn’t get vack to sleep for maybe 2 hours. Then woke again before my phone alarm. I got up and put the bike together. Up and riding by 7.30. Such a beautiful temperature.
I rode through Surin towards the border and Cambodia 🇰đź‡.
I had plans for a long ride today. But this was disturbed. Another flat route rice fields. Small towns. I often sat on the outskirts of towns resting and drinking water, it’s interesting watching people live their lives.
Once again i was riding fast over the flat ground. Suddenly I was in Chong Chom the Thai border town. I sat down next to a Lotus Fresh and worked out my next move. I decided to ride through the border and then another 30kms.
So on to the border. Very smile border guards. Thailand stamped me out. Cambodia made me fill out a form at one window, took $35 then made me fill out the same form at the next window, then stamped me in
And I was through. It was at this point I got hit by the lazy bug…… so I rode to the nearest guesthouse and booked in. Showered and lay down.
Tge pain in my littke toe is so bad. I have cut my shoe and super glued the cut edges. I hope it foesnt all unravel.
